British holidaymakers could enjoy overseas breaks from July 4th under plans being drawn up by the government
It is expected that the Prime Minister will announce on 29th June that agreements have been made for so-called air bridges with a 'small number' of countries with low levels of coronavirus.
This would allow families to go on holiday without having to self-isolate on their return to the UK.
People would only be allowed to travel with members of their household or 'support bubble' unless the social distancing rules are eased beforehand.

Ministers want to set up air bridges to countries that are 'most advantageous' to the UK economy, which are likely to include popular destinations such as France, Spain, Greece and Portugal, according to Government sources.
For this to go ahead, the Foreign Office would need to change its travel advice as that remains a block on people going abroad for holidays.
